- Reduce Stigma – Enabling individuals to obtain life-saving medication privately and without barriers.
- Protect Lives – Ensuring naloxone is available quickly during overdose emergencies.
Since its launch, our naloxone vending machine in Wichita has become one of the most heavily used in the state.

Vending machines have become one of the latest tools in the fight against the opioid crisis. Kansas got its first of several free naloxone vending machines this week.
The machines were installed in Reno County and downtown Wichita; Douglas County already had one.
“If you feel like this is something that doesn’t affect your life specifically, I ask you to think more as a community member in Wichita and be educated and be ready for an overdose at any time,” said Morgan Jennings with Safe Streets, who helped get the machine to Wichita.
